Bipolar disorder is a lifelong illness. Episodes of mania and depression eventually can occur again, if you don't get treatment. Many people sometimes continue to have symptoms, even after getting treatment for their bipolar disorder. 

Here are the types of Bipolar Disorder

• Bipolar I disorder involves periods of severe mood episodes from mania to depression.
• Bipolar II disorder is a milder form of mood elevation, involving milder episodes of hypomania that alternate with periods of severe depression. 
• Cyclothymic disorder/Cyclothymia describes periods of hypomania with brief periods of depression that are not as extensive or long-lasting as seen in full depressive episodes. 
• Mixed Bipolar episodes are periods that simultaneously involve the full symptoms of both a manic and a full depressive episode. It's marked by grandiose feelings with racing thoughts. At the same time, the person is irritable, angry, moody, and feeling bad. 
• Rapid-cycling bipolar disorder  is characterized by four or more mood episodes that occur within a 12-month period. Episodes must last for some minimum number of days in order to be considered distinct episodes.  Some people also experience changes in polarity from high to low or vice-versa within a single week, or even within a single day

Native Pizza of Dapa

When we are visiting other places, it's really fun to try local delicacies.

This is one of those moments!

A friend who lives here in Dapa, Siargao Island told me about this local pizza his aunt is selling. Last week I was surprise he brought us a box of native pizza. It really taste like pizza but it has a distinct  local taste.  The ingredients are locally made(except for the mushroom).  The crust used is so yummy. I could eat it without the toppings and pizza sauce.  But of course I love it with the toppings and sauce, so yummy!

If you're a pizza fanatic, you must try this!  Yes, you need visit Dapa to taste this pizza. :-)

Island Chocolate Banana Shake Shake Shake!

It has been a Month and few days now of staying here in Siargao Island.  A beautiful place with beautiful people.  What else could I ask for? Well, my taste bud is craving for my favorite food like the banana chocolate shake!

The last time I tasted it is a turn off. I was with my girl friends, hanging around and had our dinner at one of the restaurant in Robinson's Galleria, while they enjoyed their meal, I just decided to order a choco banana shake that cost almost the same with their meal.  I just hated how it tasted! But then I saw it on the menu of Mem's, one of the restaurant here in Dapa, Siargao Island. I was kinda' hesitant at first because it only cost Php35.00.  But then, why not.  So I gave it a try.  In few minutes the choco banana shake is on my table. Hmn... looked good. Taste. Wallah! It taste exactly the way I wanted! I so love it!

Ukulele Jam

Yesterday Ukulele Underground Philippines and Susing's Guitar sponsored a Picnic Jam for Ukulele Lovers. It was held at UP Diliman. More than 60 Uke Lovers attended.

Great players in the field of Uke were there to inspire the newbies and the wannabies (That includes me!). We had a few Jam session using simple chords. Some Shared their talents and stories. Over-flowing taho, water and snacks was provided.It was a blast! To top it all, I WON AN ALL MAHOGANY UKULELE! What do u say? ;-)
