September 10, 2010 is a regular non-working HOLIDAY!

Wooohh! Am I dreaming or what?! If I am, don't wake me up yet. *laughter*.

 September 9, 2010 as broadcast in my last post  is Sergio Osmena Day here in Cebu, regular non-working holiday! And the next day, September 10, 2010, will be the date in which the Ramadan or the Muslim’s holy month of fasting will end.

Philippine President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III has just issued Proclamation 26 which declared September 10, 2010 as a regular non-working holiday! 

SUPER MEGA TO THE MAX LONG WEEKEND!!!

It's Holiday on September 9, 2010!!!

Yes, you read it right! A Regular Public Holiday on the 9th of September 2010.

It's Don Sergio Osmena Day here in Cebu and this means Cebu will enjoy a day of rest! 

The catch is it falls on Thursday so, I guess it's not really a "Long Weekend" unlike any other holidays that they move on Mondays or Fridays.  Well, unless some changes will be made, I don't know, maybe by the local government or our employers.


There's also a rumor  that the 10th will be a Holiday too (that will double my happiness) but I still have to confirm it. Yeah! Love it!

What's travel without trying different dishes of the places you visit? How I missed this place where I can Eat the best "Pancit Palabok" ever! I was so excited to eat this delightful pancit, before I realize to photograph the dish, my plate is already clean! No trace at all! 

If ever you will stop here in San Juan City I challenge you to try Tita Lulu's Pancit Palabok! Located just across N. Domingo St. in front of Puregold supermarket. In a very affordable price of 35 pesos per serving.

*pansit palabok – [n.] garnished white noodles. the name of this dish literally came from the Tagalog word palabok meaning “garnishment, decoration, or embellishment” referring to the pleasing garnish sprinkled on top of bright and flavorful orange sauce (from the extract of pounded boiled shrimp heads or talangka) or sautéed kalkag (dried tiny shrimps). To complete and make the toppings more attractive, a scoop of grated or finely crushed pork chicharon, dash of crumbled fried garlic, and finely chopped spring onion is added on top the sauce along with a slice of hard boiled egg and sometime pieces of peeled cooked shrimps or tinapa flake. A piece of sliced calamansi (Philippine lime) is also included which the diner would squeezed to add the lemon’s juice into dish. (a.k.a. pansit luglug)

Again, thank you for your continuous visits and for the comments that's keeping me inspired to post more and of course to improve even great.  

I am super happy with the messages I received.  A special mention to Ms. Kimberly who is very interested to learn FSL, I hope the Sign Language section of this blog may be of help in your quest.  May your passion to learn FSL grow and I really hope you will become a skilled Signer.  The Sign Language section of this blog will serve as an aid for people who wanted to learn. Jet-in-a-box is not,in anyway, promoting any Sign Language School. FSL is my passion too, though I wasn't a graduate of any school in sign, being a volunteer for the literacy program for the deaf since 2006 and being able to associate with the deaf and skilled signers as well, helped a lot.

Aside from being fascinated with the heavenly bodies, Astronomy seems to be intrigue by the story of  "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". Thank you. I promise there is more.
