Few weeks ago, while browsing on Facebook, I noticed a name known as "simsimi" was kinda' becoming popular and some funny chatbox was being posted. So, out of curiosity, I tried following link. After few minutes of chatting with the need-to-learn-some-manners robot, I stopped with a heavy heart telling myself to relax. Curiosity really kills.
Just now, while browsing news on Yahoo, I come to noticed Trending Ngayon(now): #2simsimi

When we are visiting other places, it's really fun to try local delicacies.
This is one of those moments!
A friend who lives here in Dapa, Siargao Island told me about this local pizza his aunt is selling. Last week I was surprise he brought us a box of native pizza. It really taste like pizza but it has a distinct local taste. The ingredients are locally made(except for the mushroom). The crust used is so yummy. I could eat it without the toppings and pizza sauce. But of course I love it with the toppings and sauce, so yummy!
If you're a pizza fanatic, you must try this! Yes, you need visit Dapa to taste this pizza. :-)
So yeah, you're using unlimited texting for Smart/TnT, Globe/TM or whichever network you subscribe. The problem is you need to know which of your friends' number belong to which network. Argh...
Well, problem solved! Below is the list of mobile number prefixes in the Philippines.
I was a SUN Cellular Sim user for how many years because of their easy on a budget prepaid load options. But good things sometimes has to end, that's life. No SUN signal here in the island. Anyway, most of the locals here are TnT and Smart SIM users so I have to get one, aside from my Globe SIM.
So far this is the most practical prepaid load you'd get using Talk 'n Text SIM. All you have at least Php200 regular load convert to unlimited text by texting U150 and send to 4545. Enjoy unlimited text to Smart and Talk 'n Text users for 30 days, countrywide!
Ran out of prepaid SMS credits? Send FREE on your gmail account! Yes, it's free!
Here's a few more details on sending text messages from your gmail:
Enter your contact’s name in the ‘Search or invite friends’ box in Chat, and select Send SMS from the box of options that appears to the right of your contact’s name. Or, if you already have a Chat window open for this contact, just click Options, and select Send SMS.
In the dialog box, enter a phone number in the ‘Send SMS messages to this number’ field. For now, this feature works only on United States phone numbers. If you're outside the US, you can still use it, but you won't see the SMS option in Chat until you enable it manually in the Chat settings page.
Click Save.
A Chat window appears. Just type your message as you would normally. When you hit Enter, the message will be sent to the phone number you entered.
Initially, you're granted a credit of fifty messages.
Every time you send a message, your credit decreases by one.
Every time you receive an SMS message in Chat (for example when a phone user replies to one of your messages) your credit increases by five, up to a maximum of 50.

Wooohh! Am I dreaming or what?! If I am, don't wake me up yet. *laughter*.
September 9, 2010 as broadcast in my last post is Sergio Osmena Day here in Cebu, regular non-working holiday! And the next day, September 10, 2010, will be the date in which the Ramadan or the Muslim’s holy month of fasting will end.
Philippine President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III has just issued Proclamation 26 which declared September 10, 2010 as a regular non-working holiday!
Yes, you read it right! A Regular Public Holiday on the 9th of September 2010.
It's Don Sergio Osmena Day here in Cebu and this means Cebu will enjoy a day of rest!
The catch is it falls on Thursday so, I guess it's not really a "Long Weekend" unlike any other holidays that they move on Mondays or Fridays. Well, unless some changes will be made, I don't know, maybe by the local government or our employers.
There's also a rumor that the 10th will be a Holiday too (that will double my happiness) but I still have to confirm it. Yeah! Love it!
