what are the requirements to open up a new account? thanks! I checked their website, the product isn't there yet
ReplyDeletehi annpod,
ReplyDeletejust bring 2 valid ID's. 1 1X1 Pic. and a proof of billing(they just validate the address doesn't necessarily need to be named after you)
what's the interest rate..?
ReplyDeleteIt would be same with a regular ATM Acct. in BPI
ReplyDeletePlease see this link http://info.bpiexpressonline.com/bpiprod/produpd.nsf/Deposit+Rates/DepositRates1#bpi
"Every Successful cash withdrawal from any BPI or BPI Family ATM: PHP5.00"
ReplyDeleteso my account gets a deduction of P5.oo when i withdraw?
yes lanchie if you're using bpi easy saver, same if you're paying using the atm (eps)
ReplyDeletenice info,,.thanks
ReplyDeleteyou're welcome :)
ReplyDeletesure bang may deduction??prang wla nman...ngwithdraw kc aq 3x gamit ung easy saver card q sa BPI atm pro no deduction at all...
ReplyDeletegood for you kairu, or baka delay lang ang pag-bawas sayo. Thanks for your visit:)
ReplyDeleteif only for balance inquiry, is 5 pesos still deducted?
ReplyDeletei think there will be no deduction for the balance Inquiry. btw this info's helped me a lot. im so frustrated checking the banks info about easy saver but there's none=(( anyway. thanks again=))
ReplyDeleteooops sorry didn't notice the question of anonymous. Well, yes, no deductions for balance inquiries. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you're welcome
how much is the interest rate?
ReplyDeletebpi is known also for no charge when depositing interbranch that's why it is most preferred, i'll open my easy saver savings account when the weather got better.. ;) thanks for the info
ReplyDeleteyour welcome spirujoy and thanks too! Hope the weather is now ok there :)
ReplyDeletecan i use these for paying? and how much will be the necessary balance to use it? thanks
ReplyDeletehi, yes you can use your easy saver account like a regular BPI ATM card on paying your purchases with EPS as long as you have enough balance to pay the amount of your purchase. No need to worry for a maintaning balance. Remember every purchase using your account will also charge you 5.00.
ReplyDeleteparang may bawas pag nagiinquire ka magkano balance. i dunno. kanina ksi my deposited money was deducted 5.
ReplyDeleteHmm.. P5 per transaction is not a good idea on my book since I do a lot of transactions using my BPI ATM (bills, groceries, withrawals, loads etc). I prefer BPI Direct Savings Bank instead.
ReplyDeleteYour P500 minimum maintaining balance earns double interest i.e. 1.375% p.a. as compared to just 0.625% p.a. of a regular branch savings account including easy saver accts (but I heard rumors it's going down to 1.25 later this year).
And for even higher interests, once you have your BPI Direct Savings account, you can even apply for a separate time deposit account without the hassle of dropping by the bank each time it matures because it will automatically be given back to your savings account on the date of maturity, just activate your bpiexpressonline account after you open a savings account.
You can apply online with no cash out through http://www.bpidirect.com. Then get your ATM and make your initial deposit of P500 at the branch of your choice.
P5 per transaction
ReplyDeletewtf!
i open may easy saver account oct 25, 2011
ReplyDeleteP5 per transaction
balance inquiries: deducted p5
withdrawal: deducted p5
deposit: deducted p5
eps: deducted P5
transfer: deducted p5
im not happy for my account >.<
can i change my easy saver account to regular ATM account?
bal inq. P1.50
Deletewithdrawal P5
withdrawal on other bank. (ex. BDO atm) P5 +
good anf easy saver... kasi mayroon ding dormancy fee kapag regular savings account na.
^ I opened an Easy Savers account kanina. I asked if it is possible to "upgrage" to a regular ATM account if ever di ka satisfied. You have to make a new BPI account.
ReplyDeleteHi. What if wlang statement of billings? Tnx
ReplyDeleteif i already had an express teller account at gusto kong ilipat sa easy saving account what will i do
ReplyDeletehow to open BPI easy saver online??
ReplyDeleteYou can only open easy saver personally at the BPI Banks near you
Deletei dont have any valid id just a postal id and a billing adress am i not qualified to open an accnt....im a homebasemother
ReplyDeletePostal ID, as far as I know they are accepting it as valid ID
Deletewhat about the requirements for students who want to open an easy saver acct.?
Deletewhat are the requirements when you want to apply for an easy saver and Direct savibgs account? thanks
ReplyDeleteWhat should i do if yung mga bills hindi nakapangalan sa kin? pwde po ba yun?
ReplyDeleteAlam ko okay kahit hindi sayo nakapangalan yung bill as long as sa family member mo nakapangalan. My sister-in-law opened her ATM account using my phone bill.
ReplyDeleteI just applied for an Easy Saver account kanina. Ang sabi naman sa akin ang may deductions lang na P5 is all debit transactions, so all transactions against the money you have in your account (withdrawal, outgoing fund transfer, EPS, bills payment).
I just called the BPI hotline kanina to confirm which transactions ang may P5 charge and the customer service rep echoed what was explained to me kanina when I opened my Easy Saver account. Debit transactions lang daw talaga ang may P5 charge, any transaction that takes away money from your account balance.
ReplyDeleteI too have an Express Teller account and i wanted to switch to Easy Saver. Ang advice sa akin is just to open an Easy Saver account, enroll it sa expressonline, transfer all my funds from my old Express Teller account to the Easy Saver account, and then once mag-zero balance yung old account, it will automatically close.
ReplyDeleteBPI or BPI Family SAving?san pwede apply?salamat
DeletePwede bang mag bayad ng groceries through your BPI atm card (savings account) kahit below Php500 nalang ang balance?
ReplyDeleteYes Ms. Jackie, pwede.
Deletecan i use it from international payment?kase im planning to use it for my online job?
ReplyDeleteWow! what took me so long to visit my blog!? But I know any Government ID's, Postal ID, tinatanggap ng BPI.
ReplyDeletePwede po gamitin ang Easy Saver sa groceries kahit below 500 nlng ang balance as long as enough pa to pay the items you are buying.
Hmn... online, I think pwede. :)
Salamat sa lahat ng comments! Please feel free to visit again :)
What if.. I'm a student. what are the requirements? and i only have 1 valid id! :) school id. :)
ReplyDeletewala po bang mura at low maintaining balance na passbook sa BPI? kasi for project lang sana to
ReplyDeleteWala on passbook
Deletehi, is there's a required amount when u deposit, or same as the amount of 200(like the initial deposit)?, because i open account (Easy saver) last week, and i forgot to ask sa teller. I hope my msgot ng question ko thanks in advance.
ReplyDeletewala naman min. amount sa deposit nie :)
DeleteNhie i think wala naman required initial Deposit amount pero wag naman yung halimbawa pupunta pa tyo sa bank just to deposit 50p? Safe n siguro ung 200pesos. Its your account so you handle it your way...
ReplyDeletequestion guys!nag-open kasi ako ng easy saver sa bpi mga september, tapos nung magdedeposit yung kapatid ko nung friday closed acct na daw sabi ng teller. nagtataka lang ako kung bakit, kasi diba zero maintaining naman sya so bakit ikoclose nila at last ko to nagamit nung december.
ReplyDeleteyou might have visited one of our caravans. Your sister/brother should be able to deposit strictly in the dates given, as they will remain inactive for the dates after thereof. If he/she still has the atm card, visit the nearest BPI branch, and ask our staff to have it reactivated. Simply deposit lang the required minimum and pa.assist ka for an atm card activation right away. hope this answers your query.
Deleteyeah, hmn...??? have u asked the bank na?
ReplyDeleteI would rather it be a well-known-ish bank, and preferably not an online-only bank (unless they have amazing rates and you have been with them for over 6 months without any problem whatsoever).
ReplyDeleteYes :)
Deletehave the same question. Pwede po ba tong gamitin for remittance?
ReplyDeletepuwede ba mag check deposit dito?
ReplyDeletePwede po :)

ReplyDeleteYes :)
Deletehey all! I am an officer of BPI and it's great to hear that a lot of you are liking our Easy Saver.
ReplyDeleteFor those who want to open further, or you have relatives and friends who are interested, let me know. I can facilitate an account opening for you. I'll make it easy and just require one government issued ID :) if you're in Metro Manila and you are a group of 5-10, I can do a client call for you.

Thanks for your assistance too! Of course, your the best person to help my blog readers regarding BPI products. I might be emailing you one of these days to ask for help. Some of my friends and relatives in Manila are asking as to how they would open Easy Saver account with less requirements.

ReplyDeletewhat if wala nah billing records pwd bah ang baranggay clearance or police clearance..student pah kc akoh..
ReplyDeletehi! this Easy Saver account sounds interesting. i would just like to know if BPI Express Online is also one of its features? do i have to apply for express online to be able to use this service?
ReplyDeletebakit sa balance inquiry eh may fee pla n 5 pesos. i thought its for withdrawal only..
ReplyDeletetapos may requirement po ba na you NEED to deposit every month or something..? or anytime naman pwede? baka kasi biglang closed na pala siya hindi parin alam.. ayun.. hopefully masagot 'to 'cause i'm planning to open one this week.. tapos nabasa ko yung comment about dun sa nagclose yung account niya ng hindi niya alam...
=)
about a week for the card
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi, i'm one of the Easy Saver Savings Account Card Holder. Everytime i made a withdrawal transaction the receipt indicated that i have insufficient balance but when i made a balance inquiry i have a P3k+ current balance but P0.00 available balance. my question is this what type of account is BPI-ESSA and how can i withdraw my current balance. anybody can answer this? thanks in advance.

DeleteI want to inquire po kung anong mas okay, yung Easy Saver Savings Account or BPI Direct Savings Bank? I am planning to open an account kasi next week sa BPI. Thanks !
ReplyDeleteI just wanna know if it's okay if i open a BPI Express Teller Savings Account in Mandaluyong coz i use to work along Shaw Blvd. even though i live in Quezon City. Will there be any problem that i might encounter in the future?
ReplyDeleteIf it's ATM, you can withdraw to any BPI ATM machines. You can also deposit to your account to any BPI branch without charge.
DeleteI've been looking for information about this incredible offer from BPI. Thank you very much! Looks like I'll be dropping by to a BPI branch near our building.
ReplyDelete..So an easy savers card can be used for groceries and shopping expenses too?..
ReplyDeleteYes but 5.00 will be deducted every transaction, same if you are withdrawing cash

ReplyDeleteTry mo i-activate again. Thanks for visiting this post :)

ReplyDeletehi i just to ask if BPI accepts NBI certificate as an ID requirement?
ReplyDeletewant*
DeleteHi please pkisagot un mga tnung regarding expiration ng account like more than a year d nlgyn is it still active? Im out of the country kc d ko mchek
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting this post. As far as I know dahil walang maintaining balance it will always be active if your account is the easy saver. But Il get back on you to confirm sa bank. :)
Thanks!
DeleteWhat if my account is d ko nagamit for six months? is still valid to use this?
ReplyDeletehello meron bang dormancy fee ang easy saver?
